Liquid + Liquid Mixing and Reaction  Emulsification, Neutralization, Dilution, Mixing, etc.

Emulsification Replace high-pressure emulsification equipment.
Replace high-pressure emulsification equipment.
Resin manufacturer S used conventional high-pressure emulsification equipment (50MPa) exceeding $200,000 in its production line.
After testing OHR MIXER’s performance, the conventional equipment was replaced with an OHR MIXER for only $3,800 (run at 0.5MPa).
Neutralization Neutralize strong acid and strong alkali without rapid wide fluctuations.
Actual chart record / Factory M.
Sugar manufacturer M neutralized strong acid and strong alkali using a neutralization tank. However, they suffered from pH rapid wide fluctuations between acidic region and alkaline region due to inadequate mixing.
After OHR MIXER was introduced, pH rapid wide fluctuations were prevented and caustic soda could be dramatically reduced by approx 30%.
*Before treatment the raw water pH (upper red
line) fluctuates widely increasing the acid levels
 close to pH of 1.
After neutralization by the OHR MIXER the pH
(lower green line) fluctuates slightly.
This never occurs with the conventional method.

*pH rapid wide fluctuations means when the pH becomes nearly neutral, the pH responds sensitively when a neutralizer is added resulting in the pH value fluctuating widely and rapidly between the acidic region and alkaline region. This is caused by the inadequate mixing of the neutralizer which leads to the neutralizer injection having to be repeated and the amount of neutralizer increased.

Dispersion Uniformly disperses ultra-low amounts of additives into oil.
Uniformly disperses ultra-low amounts of additives into oil.
Food oil manufacturer N uses OHR MIXERs to uniformly disperse an ultra-low additive of 3.0ppm (three parts per million) into cooking oil in all of its plants.
Reaction PAC completely reacts with wastewater.
Uniformly disperses ultra-low amounts of additives into oil.
Chemical company S uses an OHR MIXER for a complete reaction between flocculant (PAC) and wastewater.
After OHR MIXER was introduced, PAC could be
dramatically reduced by 50%.
Other usage used for:
□ Emulsification without high pressure emulsification equipment.
□ Demulsification through shear force.
□ Diluting high concentration of liquid precisely.
□ Producing emulsified fuel.
□ Instantaneously blending biodiesel fuel with light oil.
□ Uniformly dispersing trace components (e.g. perfumes, mineral liquids, etc.).
□ Complete flocculant reaction without reaction tank.
□ Dissolving low solubility liquid into water.
□ Production of Tofu. Coagulates soymilk and bittern instantaneously.
□ Uniformly mixing low viscosity liquids like fruit juice into high viscosity liquids like malt sugar.

Gas + Liquid Mixing and Reaction  Generates micro-nano bubbles, DAF, Gas dissolution, etc.

DAF systems Greatly improve existing DAF systems.
Paper mill N collects used paper fibers from wastewater
for recycling using DAF system (pressure tank type), however, they had difficulty in collecting used paper
fibers because of unsatisfactory generation of
After installing an OHR MIXER with the existing DAF
system, the quality of generated microbubbles
improved markedly thereby increasing the collection
rate of used paper fibers.
Ozone treatment Highly efficient ozone treatment without waste ozone decomposition equipment.
Paper mill T uses “OHR ozone micro-nano bubble treatment method” for discoloration of 5,000m3/day of colored wastewater.
The loss of unreacted ozone is very small when using this method so no waste ozone decomposition equipment is required. The Introduction costs of the equipment were $2 million, one-third of the conventional method ($6 million).
Ozone treatment Decomposes dioxins using ozone only.
According to conventional thinking dioxins can’t be decomposed only by ozone.
However wastewater treatment company Y conducted a test which proved conclusively that dioxins can be decomposed only by ozone when using an OHR MIXER.
Other usage used for:
□ Ozone treatment of large amounts of water without waste ozone decomposition equipment.
□ Oxidation treatment with O2 gas of desulphurization waste liquid.
□ Neutralization of alkaline wastewater with CO2.
□ Producing oxygen-rich water for agriculture and aquaculture.
□ Producing ultra-high concentration carbonated beverages.
□ Producing microbubbles filled cream.
□ Producing many fine holes filled urethane sponge.
□ Flotation separation without pressure tank.
□ Installing one OHR MIXER to existing DAF system in order to greatly improve SS separation ability.
□ Removing dissolved oxygen in liquids (wines, sakes, organic solvents, etc.) by nitrogen substitution method.
□ Cleaning using microbubbled water. (e.g. rice, beans, mechine parts, etc.)
□ Filling fuel oil with microbubbles in order to improvement of fuel efficiency of boiler.
□ Reduction reaction by H2 micro-nano bubbles generation.
□ Producing microbubbled water for cooling. (e.g. machine tools, iron making, cooling tower, etc.)

Solid + Liquid Mixing and Reaction             Fine dispersion of powder, etc.

Dispersion Uniformly disperses powder into oil.
Food manufacturer R uses OHR MIXER to disperse vitamin C powder into cooking oil. Before installing an OHR MIXER,
filters became clogged due to powder dispersion failure, and were washed five to eight times a day.
Having solved the powder dispersion failure with an OHR MIXER the filter no longer clogs or needs cleaning enabling the production line to keep going all the time.
Dispersion Uniformly disperses pigments into solvents.
Chemical company D uses OHR MIXERs to uniformly disperse pigments into solvents while oxidizing pigments both domestically and overseas.
Other usage used for:
□ Fine dispersion of various powders into liquid. (e.g. vitamin C powder, powdery flocculants, etc.)
□ At the time of an oil spill accident, instantaneously disperses oil-degrading bacterium into the ocean.
□ Fine dispersion of pigments in inks or paints.
